I met a traveler while on a hike in Colorado, and as I regularly do when meeting fellow hikers, I followed him on Instagram. The main reason I follow hikers on Instagram, besides keeping in touch, is to see what other amazing places they have been to. It was while I was scrolling through his page that I saw this amazing place.
La Cueva del Esplendor, which translates to the Cave of Splendor, lives up to it’s name. While the hike to get here was uphill, it didn’t become difficult until the last 1/8th of a mile. But once my fellow hikers and I turned that corner and finally entered the cave, we were speechless.
